Crayons. Paint brushes. Scissors. Glue. While growing up, using our imagination was never silenced. It was encouraged by our parents, and Mom always kept an endless supply of arts and crafts stocked up in the house. Since I was a little girl, I’ve felt drawn to the creative arts. But God knew my curiosity to explore this world would need to be hidden for a season.
On December 26, 2016, I experienced a life-changing medical crisis. While lying on my sick bed—four months later in unimaginable pain—I mustered the strength to ask God a familiar question, “What is my purpose?”
But there was no response, only silence. Well, at least that’s what it felt like God was doing (lol). Feeling lower than I’d ever felt, I started to ask myself, “What do I want to be when I grow up?” Although this was a question I had asked myself for many years, this time it felt different. So, I kept trying, repeating this question, and searching for the answer. What happened next changed my life in the most amazing way.
Finally, God revealed my purpose! Next came an overwhelming flood of heavenly downloads. From that day forward, I never looked back.
Even as children, my brother, Micah, was a gifted artist and my sister, Nikki, was drawn to the world of acting. My siblings were the final puzzle pieces that allowed me to move forward with this vision. Truly, I feel blessed that God has woven my talented family into this incredible adventure. It’s been a calling that I almost walked away from after our mom passed away on December 2, 2022. She has always been our biggest cheerleader. But my siblings and I know honoring her legacy means to always LIVE IN PURPOSE!!
We look forward to sharing this journey with everyone. Blessings!!
Phil 4:13
A caterpillar doesn’t start off with wings.
It goes through a myriad of stages while developing in
their cocoon. When the caterpillar arrives at the final
stage of freedom, it uses all its grit to break free. Only
then will their wings be used.
